In 2011, the Board announced no tax increase, making it two years in a row the Supervisors and department heads, were able to maintain a budget which eliminated unnecessary spending and managed to work on infrastructure without placing a financial burden on its residents. Our Park and Recreation Committee put together an Easter Egg Hunt; a summer picnic featuring a Township vs. Fire Department softball game; Pumpkins in the Park and finished out the year with a holiday tree lighting ceremony at the Shohola Caboose.
